Job Description:

As a WordPress Developer at SerpFit, you will be an integral part of our web development team, responsible for crafting engaging and efficient websites that align with our clients' brand identities and business goals. You will collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and other developers to produce high-quality web solutions that elevate user experiences and drive conversions.

Responsibilites:

• 1. Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins, adhering to best practices and coding standards. 2. Collaborate with designers to convert design mockups into fully functional and responsive WordPress websites. 3. Optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times and smooth user interactions. 4. Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and services to enhance website functionality. 5. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including bugs, compatibility problems, and responsive design inconsistencies. 6. Implement SEO best practices to ensure websites are search engine-friendly and optimized for organic visibility. 7. Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, WordPress updates, and industry innovations. 8. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and learning opportunities for team members. 9. Assist in estimating project timelines and technical requirements for client proposals.

Requirements:

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 2. Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, showcasing a strong portfolio of past projects. 3. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with a deep understanding of their interactions within WordPress. 4. Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization techniques. 5. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git. 6. Strong understanding of SEO principles and how they impact website development. 7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and rectify technical issues efficiently. 8. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams. 9. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering pixel-perfect designs and flawless user experiences. 10. Experience with e-commerce platforms, page builders, and additional CMS platforms is a plus.
